You can open "Slogan Definitions" window by clicking the <Definitions>/<Slogans...> from the main menu or by clicking the button from the toolbar.
You can add audio files to database or you can edit or delete the existing slogans (jingels, sweepers, teasers etc.) in database by using the grid (see Grid Usage for details).
Columns of the grid are explained below.
Id: |
Identification number. (It is given automatically. You can edit this number only when you are adding a new record).

Audio: |
Field where the audio file is entered. You can select one or more audio files by clicking the button. After saving the slogan(s) to database, you don't need those audio files. You can delete them from your computer if you want. Because you can have them by exporting from Solea whenever you want.

Slogan Name: |
Name of the slogan.
|
Duration: |
Total duration of the slogan. It is calculated automatically and cannot be edited. |
Slogan Type: |
It is an information classifying slogans (e.g. jingle, sweeper, teaser, bed etc.). It also determines the playing style of the slogan. Playing style is set by using "Slogan Types" window. Slogan types are explained below:
•Separate: These type of slogan are played separetly without mixing with prior and next items in the broadcast list.
•Over Song: These type of slogans are played over the next song in the broadcast list (by mixing). JFT (Jingle Finish Time) information of the song is considered for starting the slogan.
•Between Songs: These type of slogans are played like songs. Its beginning and are ending parts are mixed with prior and next items in the broadcast list.

It is an information considered during automatic song selection. You can indicate that the song can be selected in which day and times. For more information see Day Parts page.

Amp.: |
Amplify Rate which will be applied during broadcast. You can see Calculating Parameters page for detailed information.

Trims and Mixes:

FadeIn: |
Fade-In duration of the slogan in seconds. The slogan volume will be initially zero and will reach the normal volume slightly in a period entered as Fade-In duration.

FadeOut: |
It is a flag indicating whether a Fade-Out will be applied during mixing or not. If it is checked, the volume of the slogan will slightly be decreased (Fade-Out) at the end.
