Day Parts

You can open "Day Parts" window by clicking <Template Module>/<Day Parts...> from the main menu.

Predefined day parts are "Slow Hours", "Medium Hours" and "Fast Hours".

You can add a new day part definition, or delete and edit the previously added day part definitions.

You can assign a "Day Part" value for each song and slogan (see Song Definitions, Slogan Definitions)

During automatic song selection, day of week and time of the row is considered.

Example:

Lets assume

•the day part named "Slow Hours" represents the hours 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 for all days.

•the day part named "Medium Hours" represents the hours 05, 06, 07 for all days.

•Song-1 and Song-2 satisfy all the rules for automatic song selection.

•Song-1's day part value is "Slow Hours", Song-2's day part value is "Medium Hours".

•the planned time of a template row is 04:42:00 and automatic song selection will be applied.

When day part rule is applied, Song-2 will be eliminated. Because it can be selected just between 05:00:00 and 06:59:59 due to its day part value.

If the planned time of the template row would be "05:42:00" both songs would be suitable for selection. Because the hour 05 is included in both "Slow Hours" and "Medium Hours".
