Permissions

It is the window where the permissions of a user or a user group are managed. You can access this window from User Definitions or User Groups windows.

While managing the user permissions, you can copy or inherit them from the permissions of an existing group.

•To inherit the permissions from a group (to make the user a member of that group), you must select a group from the Combobox (see Visual Objects Used) and you  must check the checkbox <Use Group's Permissions>.

In this case, you cannot change the permissions, just use them (inherit from group). In case of you want some users to have same permissions, this method is recommended. When you change the permissions of the group, permissions of the members change also.

•To use a copy of the permissions of a group you must select a group from the Combobox (see Visual Objects Used) and you leave unchecked the checkbox <Use Group's Permissions>.
