       To Install The Solea First Time

 

1) Run the Solea_Setup.exe. (Solea_Setup.exe is the only file needed for installation.)

 

2) If you are not experienced about setup enough, you can always click the <Next> button.

 

3) Unless installing the Solea from the Setup CD, <Demo Files> option will be disabled.
Without installing the demo files, you will have an empty database.

 

4) When you click always the <Next> button, Solea will be installed to the following directories.

Note1: Your antivirus application or Windows firewall may request a permission for SoleaSrv.exe.
In this case, let SoleaSrv.exe run (do not block). Otherwise Solea System will not run.

 

Note2: You can use "Add/Remove Programs" in Control Panel for uninstalling Solea System.

 

 

       To Upgrade The Solea To A Newer Version

 

1) No need to unistall existing version. It is recommended that you setup over existing version.

 

2) Get a newer setup file of Solea (Solea_Setup.exe).

 

3) Close all the Solea related applications (Client Application and Server Application).

 

4) Run the setup application (no need to extract from zip file).
The components for installation will be decided by "Solea Setup".
Without changing the default selections and pressing the <Next> button, complete the setup.
You must let the setup overwrite the existing folders and files.

 

 

Note: If you encounter with an exclamation message (about database incompatibility) when you start Solea, run the application UpgradeDb.exe in any folder and complete the upgrade process.

 

 

       To Make The Solea Licensed

 

1) If you have already done this operation, no need to repeat. Owner of the License must be displayed on the Status Bar of main window.

 

2) If you have already plugged the dongle unplug it.

 

 

3) Insert the Solea CD into your CD driver. Open the "Extras" folder.
If you don't have Solea CD, you can download the file Sentinel_LDK_Run-time_setup.zip (zip password is solea).

 

4) Run HASPUserSetup.exe.

 

5) After completing installation of drivers, plug the dongle into your computer.

 

6) If the dongle is not recognized by the Windows, restart the computer.
