Can I use Solea without purchasing it?

Yes. Unless you are using Solea for commercial purposes (e.g. in radio station, hotel, shopping center etc.), You can use almost all functions of Solea as DEMO. The major limitation in DEMO is related to broadcast panels. Broadcast panels can run just 2 hours. You will not need those panels for archieving your audio files, listening to musics from database. Instead of those panels you can use Play List window which has no limitation. Solea will maintain many advantages to you in most cases such as listening, archieving, querying, reporting etc., and perhaps it will make you addicted.

Which types of audio formats can be used in Solea?

Solea can decode (play) MP1, MP2, MP3, M4A, MP4, BWF, OGG, WMA, AAC+, AC3, APE, FLAC, WAV formats and can encode MP2, MP3, OGG, WMA, ACC+, FLAC, WAV formats with suitable plugins. Some plugins are available with setup.

How can I access and use the Solea Database from another computer over network?

You must first install the Client Application to that computer (see Installation page).

When you run the Client application first time, name or IP address of the server computer will be required. If you enter the name or IP address of the computer where the Server Application running, you can easily connect and access the Solea Database.

How can I start the Solea without entering user name and password?

If you comply with the security risks, you can carry out this request by using startup parameters.

Can Solea start, open and play from broadcast panel automatically as soon as Windows started?

Yes. This feature is very useful for the places where the electricity breaks occur frequently. You can do this by  using startup parameters.

Can I change the broadcast panel and play list colors?

Yes. You can use <Color Settings...> button on Settings window.

Can I use 5.1 or 7.1 sound cards instead of multi-channel soundcards for Hotel Music Broadcasting?

Yes. You can use a 5.1 sound card for 6 locations or 7.1 sound card for 8 locations in Hotel On-Air panel. You can assign sound card and it channels by using Settings window.
