Connecting To Server

When you run the Client Application first time, a server selection window will be opened. You can enter the name or IP address of the computer where the Server Application is running.

After clicking <Ok> button you must successfully enter the Solea. If you haven't defined Startup Parameters, you must encounter with the Login window. Otherwise, you will encounter with an error message. You can view the page Trouble Shooting to find a solution for the problem.

Remarks:

•Connection to server computer is done always over TCP/IP protocol.

•If you change the name or IP address of the server computer, you can click the <System>/<Connect to Another Server> from main menu on Client Application and enter new name or IP address of the server computer or you can correct the Startup Parameters.

•Server name or IP address information is saved to file Solea.ini which is under "Client" folder (C:\Program Files\Solea4\Client) and read from this file when needed.

•Server settings are saved to file SoleaSrv.ini which is under "Server" folder (C:\Program Files\Solea4\Server) and read from this file when needed.
